By far the best restaurant in Hanoi. Christina, our waitress, was extremely helpful. Her English was excellent and made my brother and me comfortable. The food is immaculate and will leave your taste buds satisfied. I highly recommend you come and bring your family.

Had the braised sturgeon and duck pho. The pho soup and noodles is good. The outstanding part is the service. Christina who serviced us gave us the best service, very welcoming and provided us with welcome guava drinks and appetiser. As I was celebrating a special occasion, she also arranged complementary dessert, chocolate fondue, which was really good. All around great service. 👍

Lan Ong restaurant is terrific! Best of all is the service of Ms. Duo - the very kind & friendly waitress. We ordered 3 dishes she recommended: 3 styles spring roll; pork ribs with five spices; beef garlic with sticky rice. All amazing & delicious. We’ll definitely come back again. Ms. Duo gave us 5-star service.

THE BEST FOOD was served by Lan Ong on our last night in Hanoi. The staff were so friendly and respectful. Daniel and Peony did the best service and were so attentive. The food and cocktails were amazing!!! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a nice, peaceful restaurant in Hanoi with delicious food choices. 💯 Thank you for making our last night in Hanoi memorable!!

When I walked in, the staff invited me upstairs, and I was very surprised by the space when I arrived. Even though it is a restaurant located in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, the size of the restaurant really amazed me. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the music volume was just right — you could still have a conversation without it being too noisy. About the food: I tried the green ambarella salad served with fried young sticky rice pork rolls, and the flavor was very impressive. The sour, salty, and sweet tastes were perfectly balanced. Definitely worth trying. My second dish was grilled sugarcane pork rolls. It came as a platter for wrapping, and the staff were incredibly helpful — they removed the leaf wrapping and even cut everything in half for me. For someone as lazy as me when it comes to peeling things by hand, it honestly felt like heaven. The dipping sauce was delicious and unique, with a rich flavor that seemed to come from peanuts or coconut milk. It was also very fragrant with herbs. Unfortunately, I can’t eat herbs, so I only tasted it and then asked for a bowl of sweet and sour fish sauce instead. But if you can eat herbs, please give it a try hahaha. It really makes the dish more special, but if not, don’t hesitate to ask for sweet and sour fish sauce instead. The grilled rolls were very juicy, with a great balance of meat and a little bit of fat. I was very satisfied with this meal, and I will definitely come back.
