- The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The catfish cake was average, and the rice noodle soup was good. However, the presentation wasn't very good. When ordering, the catfish cake and rice noodle soup were served at the same time. - The beefsteak was also decent. - The space and decor were in a European style. It was still a bit hot. - The restaurant was spacious with ample parking in front and a large sidewalk.
The restaurant is average, but the noodle soup is piping hot and takes a very long time to cool down, causing me to burn my mouth while eating. I hope the restaurant learns from this experience. Also, the food takes quite a long time to come out.
I checked the restaurant's name and it says "Banh Canh Ghe - Cha Ca Lang" (crab noodle soup - catfish cake). The crab noodle soup was good, the seating was comfortable, and the price was reasonable.
My family lives nearby, so we occasionally stop by for dinner. It's recommended to call ahead to reserve a table. Sometimes, the wait for food can be quite long. The restaurant is famous for its crab noodle soup, but my family didn't find it to our liking, so we usually only order the snakehead fish cake and steak. The fish cake portion for two is a little small, but the fish meat is tender, the fish guts are crispy and delicious. There's a choice of regular fish sauce or shrimp paste to eat with the fish cake (my family can eat shrimp paste, so we found the shrimp paste tastier). The prices are reasonable. The restaurant space is a bit cramped and always crowded on weekend evenings, so the atmosphere isn't very airy. On days when we encounter impolite customers, it can be quite noisy. *Once, my family encountered a table next to us full of women in their 40s and 50s with children (the children were polite and ate quietly, but the women were very boisterous). I asked a staff member to go over and gently remind them, but they were probably afraid and just said "yes" half-heartedly. My family finished eating quickly and left the restaurant. Going out for dinner to relieve stress, but actually makes you more stressed :)
