So I used to love coming here but the last few times have not been great. I have given feedback on every occasion and honestly it hasnt changed. Today was the final straw and I probably wont return. The things that happened aren't huge things but adding up these today and all of the other times made me compelled to finally write this. I ordered smoked salmon benedict no muffin as I took my own gluten free banh mi. The last few times I've done this have been fine although a little confusing for staff. I only started doing this as they used to let you swap to hash brown to be gluten free but the last few times they've said no. They brought the bread back before my food and had clearly tried to grill it before cutting it meaning it had gone hard. I asked them to serve it with the food. Then they brought the food, no eggs and bread was cut open but not toasted. Asked them to toast it and include the eggs, they brought it back, hollandaise was thick and congealed and the bread was still not toasted but was hard and inedible. My husband had the smoked salmon scrambled eggs and said it was also disappointing. Honestly for the price and the fact I've had so many issues here that could be easily fixed I wont be returning.
This place has the most authentic Western breakfast that I've been able to find since I've been here. If you're from the West, you know we do brunch! Brunch is a thing. Brunch is one of the main things. And it's really hard to find places that do western brunch well. But this place? Eggs Benedict, waffles, pancakes, coffee, juice– like what do you want? They got it. I do wish that they had more gluten-free options. But that doesn't stop me. The place is huge and it's definitely set up for large groups. I always go by myself but most of the tables are for at least two to four people. Definitely a place for a group. I've never tried a single bad dish here. The service is fantastic. Just excellent. Definitely my favorite breakfast place in Hanoi thus far.
Nestled in an excellent, peaceful location surrounded by greenery, this western menu cafeteria feels like a hidden retreat; we even spotted a squirrel during our visit 🐿️ Breakfast and lunch were delicious, while the dessert menu after dinner was equally impressive, especially the highly recommended cakes and pies with balanced sweetness and less sugar. Suitable for every kind of group, this place helps you reconnect with your voice and enjoy peace 🩵
Very tasty food - throughly enjoyed our brunch in terms of flavour, however, the portions are too small! It looks like they used to be bigger from looking at previous reviews and their photos (the brunch waffles were too small). We had to order a second dish to share as we were still hungry, fabulous food but expensive for the portion size. Friendly service, but particularly slow. My boyfriend’s dish came way before mine.
Visited 3 days in a row — that says it all! Cozy atmosphere, great coffee, super friendly and attentive staff, and absolutely amazing food. The salmon eggs benedict were the best, the bacon eggs benedict was delicious, the brownie was perfect, and the blueberry pancakes were fluffy and incredible. Highly recommend!
