Lộc-Ally Restaurant
Hanoi
Recensioner
We are vegetarian & this review is only for their breakfast spread which is served every morning till 1030 to the in-house as well as outsiders. The resturant is located on 2nd flr above the hotel lobby as is around 50-75 seater at most. The buffet spread is placed very compact in 3 large counters but apparently has everything generally what you seek from a 5star hotel. Being a vegetarian & Indian, was difficult to eat most of the thing's but we requested them to prepare something specially for us which was done promptly by Mr Thang and his team & Chef for us. We saw quite a few Indians in the 3 days we stayed here and would suggest the Management to kindly introduce a few Indian dishes ( specially for vegetarians). Look forward to be here again. The pictures provide the type of food to accept which is self descriptive and perhaps useful for people who would like to see the spread. One star less has been given for the non availability of the menu spread for vegetarian s and not for quality of food and service's which are both good.
We stayed at the Grand Mercure so the Loc-Ally was our start of the day and sometimes our end of the night. The Vietnamese Food is very good. Rich flavours and beautiful presentation. The Western Food is quite basic. Still good, but not outstanding. And I sadly had a few pieces of crab shell in my crab meat pasta. The staff is fabulous. We were always treated warmly and they made sure we feel satisfied. And the work uniforms are unbelievably beautiful.
Dropped by for a quick lunch as we were nearby. The pasta was rather average, but my family enjoyed the local dishes they ordered and found them very good.
