I love this restaurant so much ❤️ The team here truly went above & beyond in many different ways. Ms. My, Ms. Ni and Ms. Thao took a super good care of me since my arrival until I left the restaurant. They’re all very friendly, attentive, kind, pay attention to the little details to ensure I have a good experience. I’ve been in different places but the service here is a new level. I was welcomed with a fresh hand tower, a cup of water, then a lovely basket of Vietnamese crackers during the time I wait for my food. When I finished my food, I was about to leave and was so surprised that the team prepared for me a set of camomile tea with some local sweet treats of Hanoi. All of that was done in a very thoughtful way with the sincere hospitality sense. I can’t say how much I enjoyed my visit at May Tre Dan. I will definitely come back. Highly highly recommend!
Good food, happy to have "Morning Glory with Garlic" as a side dish for some veggies! As part of the service charge they generously serve prawn crackers, and a nice bowl of fruits and a cup of tea after your meal :) Interesting lunch set menu options. Lovely service and a very cozy environment, it's located in the Meritel Hotel so you have to walk in and past the hotel reception :)
What we ordered • Green Mango Salad and Prawn • Chicken Bún Chả • Mango Sago Located inside the Meritel Hanoi Hotel, May Tre Dan Restaurant impressed us with both its food and service. The staff were attentive and welcoming throughout, and we opted for the lunch set menu which turned out to be great value. The food was genuinely flavourtul, fresh and well balanced. The standout for us was definitely the Bún Chả which was packed with authentic flavours and cooked beautifully. To finish, the mango sago was the perfect dessert. It had just the right level of sweetness, allowing the freshness and natural flavour of the mango to really shine through without being overpowering. We enjoyed a great lunch at May Tre Dan, we had the set menu with a green mango and shrimp salad, a pho and a mango sago for dessert. The food was excellent, the best pho we had in Vietnam (and we are at the end of our trip). The atmosphere is very calm and elegant. The staff was also super nice, our waitress Ni did an amazing job.
