Such a lovely Italian café. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, the interior is beautifully designed and the view over the lake makes it an even nicer place to relax. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff were kind and welcoming. Everything about this place made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!
We had a great time here at Lupo. We were surprised how spacious it is inside. The owners are lovely and told us more about their time in SEA, and their plans with Lupo. The cafe has a very unique vibe thanks to all the vintage racing bicycles. Combined with the yellow and white walls you really come to peace here. The food menu is very interesting with some eye-catching Italian options. They also have a daily menu based on seasonal availability of produce. Unfortunately, we had just eaten. So it was just a very refreshing juice and one of the best croissants here in Hanoi. Looking forward to visit here again for lunch or diner.

Hidden gem at West Lake – outstanding Italian food and design We found this place completely by accident after cycling around West Lake, and what a discovery it was. The first thing that caught our attention was the design. The restaurant has a very modern, minimalistic style, yet still feels warm and cozy. The atmosphere is something special – not something you see often. Beautiful lighting, a calm setting, and a clear eye for detail. The view over the lake makes it even better, especially at the end of the day when you want to avoid the busy city traffic and just relax. Food-wise, everything was excellent. We shared a cold cuts and cheese board (perfect for 2–3 people) with high-quality imported cheeses and meats, and followed it with a porcini risotto. Risotto is not an easy dish to get right, but this one was spot on – rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Service was relaxed and pleasant, matching the overall vibe of the place. This is one of those places you don’t plan, but end up remembering. We will definitely come back next time we are in Hanoi.
