Comet Restaurant's breakfast buffet had a curated spread with both made to order Pho and other local dishes but leaned more on international cuisine. The line up of dishes are enough for every palate to enjoy in the morning. We had an early checkout and Ms. Moon prepared a takeaway bag with some bread and fruits. Fantastic customer servicing Ms. Moon. Stepping inside, we were greeted with a meticulously styled setting. The impeccable presentation of the restaurant, coupled with the fluent English-speaking and accommodating staff, elevated our dining experience. In our room, we got an invitation to savor Comet's Michelin Select chef Hien tasting menu. However with only two days in Hanoi, we already had our full day planned out. Lastly the restaurant was enclosed by floor to ceiling glass windows which have a panoramic view of Hanoi's Hoan Kiem skyline further adding to the enjoyment of the dining experience.

The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere from the moment you walk in. We were fortunate enough to get a table upon arrival. The setting is cozy and intimate, making it perfect for a date night. We were hosted by Khanh, who ensured we were comfortable throughout the evening and provided excellent service. We ordered the pumpkin soup, Tom Yum soup, seafood stir-fry noodles, and chicken pho. All of which were outstanding and highly recommended. Comet is a truly intimate and cozy restaurant, ideal for a romantic evening or even a small gathering with friends.
I had an amazing experience here. There was a guest Michelin Selected chef (Nguyen Thi Hien) offering a set menu. The servers Quang and Khanh were amazing, the food was amazing. Being on the 11th floor, I could see Hanoi from above with a view of the Turtle Tower.
Chatgpt sent me here when I asked for a mid budget fusion restaurant based on reviews. Prices were more than double a typical Vietnamese restaurant. No fusion, pretty typical stuff. I ordered Thai Tom Yum soup. Having lived in Thailand, I have had it perhaps 100 times in dozens of different restaurants, including some in Vietnam. While it was decently made, the portion was about 80% smaller than a normal order. A tiny bowl the size of half a grapefruit showed up and was full blown laughable. Service, particularly for a far more expensive restaurant, wasn't poor, it was non existent. After I ordered, I never saw the waiter again, not once. I watched a parade of customers, everyone, go to the hostess to request a bill. None was provided to anyone. I left hungry, going directly to a Binh Ma shop and had an excellent sandwich for $1.50. Don't go here.
