Wow where to start. If I could give a place 6 stars it would be this one. When we walked in we were warmly greeted. Our excitement grew as we entered the establishment. The environment is astounding the music is the perfect volume the temp is cool and the staff is incredible. Well we are on the topic of the environment, every song that was played was amazing whoever is on aux needs a raise. We used the QR code for the menu and as we were scrolled through the photos are jubilation climbed. As we looked through the menu, we drank cool refreshing cucumber water and let me tell ya it was the exact thing we needed. The first dish we received was the Kung pow chicken. A verbal wow came out of my mouth instantly. As our bao arrived, the presentation had us frothin with excitement. We tried several and all were above an 8 and the pork and the dirty bird are definitely above a 9. We closed off the night with the mini buns and chocolate and it was the perfect finish to an amazing experience. We are currently here for round two as I write this review. I am knee-deep in some Kong pow chicken and it’s as glorious as I remember. This place is truly amazing I highly recommend it.

# A Tiny Flavour Riot in Hanoi 🥟 Some meals make you laugh out loud — Bao Wow is exactly that kind of place. Tucked away with relaxed music humming in the background and the easy energy of young staff weaving between tables, the room feels alive without ever feeling rushed. We slid into our seats already curious, already a little hungry, already enchanted. Then came the braised aubergine bao. Oh, the aubergine — silky and slow-cooked until it nearly melted, draped in sweet soy and brightened by garlic tempeh and sharp little flecks of pickled red pepper. Tucked inside a pillowy bao that gave way with the softest pull, every bite was a tiny conversation between sweet, savoury, and tang. The mushroom and black vinegar dumplings followed — earthy, glossy, lifted by fried shallots and scallion oil that smelled like comfort itself. It's the kind of place where you mean to stop in once and end up returning the next night. What's the dish you'd happily fly back for? 🌿✨🥢 Alex from Perth #BaoWowHanoi #VegHanoiEats #VeggieBaos #HanoiFoodie #PlantBasedTravel #DumplingLove #VegFoodieAdventures #TravelPerthEats

This is my second time coming to this restaurant. Honestly, the food here is pretty average, but I came back because the space has a very Western vibe, and my friend wanted to try it since she had never been here before. Among the baos, the beef one is probably the best, but I would only rate it about 7/10. The best thing we had was actually the two pieces shown in the photo. They were genuinely the best items on the menu. The baoless version was even better than the bao. I would still recommend choosing the beef.

We had lunch there today and LOVED it! Definitely going back. Two of us shared 3 baos-all delicious and the popcorn chicken. Great service and lovely relaxing vibes. Oh and cool toilets… it’s important!😉

We had a Big Mckenna on our first stay in Hanoi. We ended up liking this meal so much that we took a taxi on our last night just to enjoy it one last time. It really tasted like a Big Mac, but with better ingredients. We also loved the Cajun fries and the hibiscus lemonade.
