Description
Discover the beauty of Ha Giang on a 3-day tour from Hanoi. Explore the Dong Van Geopark, visit the Ma Pi Leng Pass, and see the Vuong Palace. Stay in a homestay and enjoy meals with the locals.
Day 0: Hanoi / Ha Giang
Get picked up from your hotel in Hanoi at 15:30pm(limousine) or 19:40pm(sleeping bus) and travel to Ha Giang City. Check into your hotel and rest overnight.
Day 1: Ha Giang / Quan Ba/Heaven Gate/ Yen Minh / Dong Van
After breakfast, drive 155 kilometers and walk for around 1 hour. Meet the Mong people and see their lifestyle. Stop at wonderful places to take photos or just enjoy the landscape.
Visit the Heaven's Gate, 1500 meters high and over the clouds. In Quan Ba, see the famous twin mountains. Have lunch in a small restaurant in Yen Minh. Drive down Ha Giang to visit the Vuong Palace, built by the Mong people for their own king.
Reach Dong Van at 5:00 PM and stay in a homestay. Explore the quiet village of Dong Van.
Day 2: Dong Van / Meo Vac /Ma Pi Leng/ Du Gia
After breakfast, drive through the Dong Van Geopark to the Ma Pi Leng Pass, considered the 'king' of Vietnam's passes. On the top of this pass, begin the 20-kilometer long Happiness Road, handmade by the local people with a romantic atmosphere.
In Meo Vac, see one of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. Pass by Mau Due and Du Gia and see a lot of terrace rice fields. Arrive in Du Gia and have lunch with the family of the Tay minority people. Swim in the waterfalls of Du Gia Village, one of the cleanest waterfalls in Ha Giang. Stay overnight in a homestay.
Day 3: Du Gia - Du Gia waterfall- Bac Me - Ha Giang - Ha Noi
After breakfast, drive to the waterfall (if there was no time to visit on day 2) and continue to see the incredible valley view. Return to Ha Giang and have lunch.
At 15:30 PM or 21:00pm, take the bus back to Hanoi.
