Staff were very nice and the atmosphere inside with the music and decor was good. The cakes were not bad, just not the best either. Drinks were very nice

Really cute space, tastefully designed and decorated, very spacious. Excellent location & view. Perfect brunch/cafe spot by day. Cocktails are available too, will have to come back to experience the night vibes.
I’ve been to Matinée Café & Brunch a few times now, and each visit has been consistently enjoyable. The food is well-prepared, nicely presented, and flavorful without being heavy. The brunch and rice dishes in particular are very satisfying, and the menu is varied enough that everyone can find something they like. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but that’s completely understandable given the extremely central location, the spacious layout, and the amount of natural light. The café feels open and comfortable, making it easy to stay for a while without feeling cramped or rushed. It’s a great spot for many occasions — catching up with friends, studying or working, having a relaxed lunch, or even a casual dinner. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and it’s definitely the kind of place you’d want to come back to rather than just visit once. Overall, a solid café & brunch spot in the city center with good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and a space that works for many different purposes.
