This used to be the go-to spot for the elite back in the day. The food is incredibly refined yet surprisingly affordable. With its elegant ambiance, it’s the perfect place for a date or hosting clients. I highly recommend the Bun Thang and Bun Cha. The Bun Thang broth is top-tier (super flavorful) while the Bun Cha comes with generous, high-quality portions of meat.

Perhaps the nicest restaurant bar I have visited in Hanoi. They treat you with special care, and the decor as well as the atmosphere is fantastic! And to finish they serve good food and have an awesome happy hour.

We visited La Table Hanoi for the second time—our first visit about 10 years ago was outstanding, so we arrived with high expectations. Unfortunately, this time was a disappointment. The meal started poorly. The spoons served as the chef’s amuse-bouche lacked flavor and didn’t set a promising tone. The bun dish was good, but that was one of the few highlights. The wagyu, advertised as A5, was tough and underwhelming. Later, we were told it had been switched from Japanese A5 to Australian wagyu. Had this been clearly communicated or stated on the menu, I would not have ordered it. Desserts, while visually impressive, were very disappointing in taste. The cheesecake had an overly dense top layer with a base that lacked flavor, and the strawberry mousse was simply unpleasant. The overall atmosphere was also underwhelming—closed windows with heavy drapes and partitioned rooms made the space feel somewhat closed off rather than inviting. Service was acceptable but not memorable. Overall, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish, especially compared to our previous visit. Sadly, this is not a place we would return to.

Exquisite food, drinks and service! This fine dining restaurant does it all. We tried the French (with some Vietnamese fusion elements) and everything was perfectly executed, with complex flavours, textures and presentation. The cocktails were also excellent - particularly the 'pho' cocktail that involves a fiery infusion process in front of you. The staff were lovely and helped work through options around my wife's dairy allergy We'd stayed in the Metropole hotel acrosd the road and the food here handily bests their restaurants

The mains are delicious. The phở broth is light and savory with plenty of beef and greens. They give you a lot of seafood in the fried rice. Soybean based butter made in-house is so unique, never had anything like that before. The drinks were delicious too. The chocolate chip cookies were so unique, there is a prominent spice to it that you taste (clove would be my guess) and then transitions to a chocolate chip cookie taste. Trinh and Hoa did an amazing job with the drinks and service. Everyone working there was so nice and everyone did a great job explaining any questions I had. Maybe due to not that many people even we came, the food takes probably around 10 minutes to get to the table. I love this place sm.
