Description

SAPA MOUNTAIN & RICE FIELDS – BEST VIEW TREK (2D1N) Distance: 17 km | Level: Moderate | Start: 9:00 AM | End: ~2:30–3:00 PM Route: Sapa → Dragon Mountain → Mong Du → Hang Da → Hau Thao → Su Pan → Giang Ta Chai DAY 1 – TOUCH THE SKY, WALK WITH TRADITION Start your journey at 9:00 AM from Sapa Church, then ascend Dragon Mountain (1,900m) for a breathtaking panoramic view over the town and misty valleys. Trek through quiet trails into the heart of the Black Hmong villages – Mong Du and Hang Da, where the rhythm of life is slow, simple, and deeply rooted in tradition. Enjoy a freshly cooked lunch in a peaceful village, then continue to a secret sky-viewpoint, where the view opens up to a vast sea of mountains and rice terraces. As the sun sets, arrive in Hau Thao village and settle into a cozy local homestay. Share stories with your host, learn to cook traditional dishes, and try a sip of local 'happy water' by the fire. DAY 2 – RICE TERRACES, WATERFALLS & PEACE Wake up to birdsong and mist drifting through the valley. After breakfast, continue the trail through Ta Van, home to some of Sapa’s most iconic rice terrace views. Pass Ban Pho village, cross a hanging bridge, and enter the forested paths leading to Giang Ta Chai village, home to the Red Dao people. Along the way, cool off at a hidden waterfall—a perfect dip in summer heat. Enjoy your last village meal before heading back to Sapa town around 2:00–3:00 PM—just in time for your trip back to Hanoi, Ninh Binh, or Ha Giang Mr.Ninh will contact you to organize for you This tour is designed for those who want to truly experience the traditional lifestyle and rich culture of Northern Vietnam. It is not a five-star resort, so please keep that in mind when joining us.
