Overview
Trek through Sapa’s breathtaking Muong Hoa Valley, meet three unique ethnic communities, and spend the night in a cozy local homestay. Stunning rice terraces, waterfalls, and bamboo forests await!
Note: If you already have a hotel in Sapa, please leave your luggage there. For early arrivals, I can arrange a convenient bag transfer to my homestay for just 50,000 VND per motorbike (each bike can carry up to 2 large backpacks).

Day 1 – Sapa → Y Linh Ho → Lao Chai → Ta Van (~12 km, 5–6 hrs)
09:00 – Meet at Sapa Church. Begin trekking southeast along terraced mountains with sweeping views of Muong Hoa Valley.
* Mường Hoa Valley in Sapa is a breathtaking landscape of endless rice terraces, hidden ethnic villages, and misty mountains, where every season paints a new picture of nature’s beauty.
Y Linh Ho Village – Home of the Black H’mong. Discover traditional wooden and bamboo houses surrounded by rice terraces.
Lao Chai Village – One of the largest H’mong communities. See ancient stone carvings and vibrant valley life.
Ta Van Village – Home to the Giay and H’mong. Cross suspension bridges, wander lush valleys, and check into a warm family homestay.
Evening – Join a hands-on Vietnamese cooking class (spring rolls), then enjoy a hearty dinner.
Day 2 – Ta Van → Giang Ta Chai → Supan → Sapa (~6 km, 3–4 hrs)
Morning – Wake up to the sounds of nature. Enjoy a homemade breakfast.
Giang Ta Chai Village – Meet the Red Dao, known for their red headdresses and herbal bath traditions. Trek past waterfalls, cross suspension bridges, and walk through bamboo forests.
Supan Village – Peaceful hilltop community with sweeping valley views. Lunch at a small family restaurant.
14:30 – Transfer by bus back to Sapa Church.

- Fitness level is moderate. Prepare for some steep, uneven terrain. Tour duration is 2 days, 1 night, covering 19 km.
