I found this French restaurant on the 2nd floor, and there's a local guy at the entrance who asked if we were going there, what a nice surprise. The chef is Korean, and he really put together everything he learned from working in the Philippines, Japan, and other places into the dishes, with a bit of Vietnamese twist too. The thing that blew me away was the cod, which is used Japanese sake. And the beef was so soft and tender, just amazing. The foie gras was so good too. I've had foie gras many times, but this one was a new experience. They added macadamia nuts and strawberries, which balanced the richness perfectly. Also gotta say the wine pairing was on point. Every glass went perfectly with the dish, you could really tell they put a lot of thought into it. I had my birthday dinner here, and they sweetly wrote Happy Birthday on the dessert. Such a lovely touch.

Fine dining within someone's living room is what LABRI feels like. Tucked away and barely visible via the neon sign, we went past it a few times already and my god how did I miss this from the beginning. Menu resembles that of a fine dining establishment with little touches of Asian flavor here and there that just lifts everything up. Crab canape is really nice, reminds me of a nori Ostar chip from Korea. Oyster is refreshing while still retaining a slight brininess from the juices. Carpaccio is lovely, the acidity and savouriness of the sauce complimeneted it really really well. Foie gras tastes a little bit weird at first but eaten as a whole in combination with berries and nuts, it was so decadent. Nori brown butter and tomato butter combo is a tinge of smoke and umami packed with aromatics packed into a puck. Lobster tortelini is sublime, the tortelini was perfect, I really wish I could just come back for this and an extra main, the lobster part threw me off a bit since it's a little oversalted. Duck main was nicely cooked, sauce was giving it a nice undertone as you mainly tasted the gamey duck. Beef main is a little unexpected as there were these Korean ingredients that tastes just like suancai or pickled mustard greens which reminds me of Cơm rang dưa bò - suancai beef fried rice. Desserts were nice but I'd love for the pears to take on a different flavor than just the five-spice mix that they used for the carrot chutney. Lovely place, would come back next year when I got the finances.

The food is good, not super impressive but overall it’s a great experience. The staff is super nice and knowledgeable, she introduced me all the dishes and explained in detail. She also very friendly, helpful, I think I just don’t know any better words to describe how much I love her service. However, please be aware of the amount of influencers & KOL come here just to take selfies and photos and not enjoying the food at all. They might just lie down on the floor for the sake of their photos LMAO.

We went to Labri to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was such a wonderful experience. Every course was beautifully presented and thoughtfully balanced. The portions might look small, but by the end, we were perfectly full. The chef did an excellent job with the bisque — the shrimp flavor in the Amaebi cold pasta was rich and memorable (I only wished for a little more shrimp!). The foie gras terrine was also fun to eat — you can combine each element on the plate to create new flavors, and the tomato butter served with the bread was absolutely delicious. I could easily have more of it if I wasn’t already full. For dessert, I chose the blue cheese ice cream based on the staff’s recommendation, and it was incredible — creamy, flavorful, and just like eating a blue cheese cheesecake. The service was warm and attentive, making the whole evening feel very special. Highly recommend this place — refined, creative, and full of heart.
