The restaurant was still very crowded around 8 PM, less crowded on the second floor but still incredibly noisy. The sturgeon hotpot set for 2 people was 499k + seasoned fries 60k + a pineapple and ginseng drink 25k. The hotpot set was just right, with delicious crab cakes and sturgeon. The fish pieces weren't too big or too fatty. The broth here is sour and spicy, more like Thai hotpot broth, but more of a pre-mixed sauce, not the subtly sour and spicy broth you find at other places. My only complaint is they use a lot of ginger. The hotpot vegetables were Chinese cabbage, water spinach, and mustard greens, not the typical herbs and spices you'd find in fish hotpot, which I didn't like much. The food also took a bit long to arrive.

The food and dipping sauces were delicious. I ordered a spicy and sour sturgeon hot pot, boiled vegetables with dipping sauce, grilled pork cheek, fried corn, and fried potatoes. Each dish had generous portions. I was particularly impressed with the grilled pork cheek; the dipping sauce was delicious, and the dipping sauce was also fantastic. The staff were very enthusiastic. I'll definitely bring my friends to this restaurant again next time. 10 VND
