Found a new favorite in Hanoi! 💖 It’s my third time visiting Hanoi and I wanted to stay at a different side of Old Quarter this time. Happy to have chosen this hotel despite rare reviews on social media. Good thing we have Google reviews! 😌😙 The staff, especially the two female receptionists, were very warm, helpful, and friendly! They always went out of their way to greet you when you leave or arrive at the hotel. They also generously arranged to receive and pay an online order from HCMC that I placed before coming to Hanoi, which was top notch customer service! And now the roooom? Wow! I booked a double room with a window and got an amazing room at the seventh floor with a huge glass window. It was very spacious and came with a bathtub. ✨ They have an elevator until the 6th floor and then you need to take the stairs up to the upper floors. They also provide daily ala carte breakfast plus a mini buffet spread of fruits, drinks, salad, and yogurt. Would definitely come back again when in Hanoi. To Ruby and to the other long-haired petite girl (sorry I forgot to get your name), you ladies are gems of the hotel and hope you’re well appreciated! 💗
We had an amazing stay at Hanoi La Castela Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the entire staff made us feel welcomed and cared for. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. A special thank you to Manager Vy for going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. She was very hospitable, responsive, and always accommodating to our requests. One gesture that truly stood out was when the hotel prepared breakfast for us to take on our early morning trip to Ninh Binh. It was such a thoughtful touch that showed how much they care about their guests. The service here exceeded our expectations, and it played a huge part in making our Hanoi trip even more enjoyable. If you're planning to visit Hanoi, I highly recommend Hanoi La Castela Hotel. You can expect outstanding hospitality, attentive staff, and a team that genuinely cares about your experience. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!
“Accessible Location and Friendly Staff” My brother and I booked a standard room because the suite rooms were all unavailable but still even if the hotel is a little old, the facilities were all working good and the room is very clean. They were responsive to our request of having a twin bed. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The location is very accessible as it is close to famous restaurants and souvenir shops. They were also kind enough to facilitate our airport transfer so it’s all hassle-free. The free breakfast is simple yet very good as well.
The wonderful thing we experienced on our stay at La Castela is the customer service. They accommodated our midnight check-in (1:30AM), and Rain the receptionist was super helpful let us stay in the lobby even though we already checked out while waiting for our transport service going to Sa Pa, he even let us use the toilet and eat in their mini restaurant area and he even called the office of HKBuslines to check the whereabouts of our transport service. Breakfast was okay limited choices but still good cooking maybe add more options in the future. The hotel is pretty small and looks kinda old already, needs a little renovation but the room that we stayed on was spacious, the bed was comfy, shower/water flow is okay and they have bidet 👌🏻. Location is very strategic if you want to stroll around Hanoi. Overall we had a great stay!
I checked in on 31st Dec and stay for few nights. When I arrived at 430 pm, I was told the triple room has been overbooked for that night. Hence, they suggest that 3 ladies to sleep on two super single bed that are merged to be a king sized bed for 1 night. We rejected the proposal and then, they said they will add an extra bed. As all hotels are fully booked, we were left with no choice and accepted the extra bed thing. Fyi, this hotel has about a total of 10 to 15 rooms and totally unbelievable that the room has been overbooked. Another thing to note is I have booked the room 2 months plus ahead. I read many reviews on Hanoi old quarter hotels who always shortchanged tourist with different hotel upon their arrival for check-in. This really tarnish my impression on Hanoi being my first time here. But there are few things that are positive. Staff are approachable, helpful, trustworthy housekeeping staff (my friend left her new phone in the room while we went out), great location (close to convenience store, restaurant (Hanoi garden). In addition, staff assist to reserve table for opposite restaurant and booking of transportation to airport is done perfectly. Breakfast is fine too and we can choose egg and noodle (pho) of our choice.
