We stayed at the hotel for about a week, and from the very moment we arrived, we received exceptional, above-and-beyond service from the entire staff. Throughout our stay, every question or request was met with an immediate and helpful response. Whether it was small requests, adding an extra room, providing local recommendations, or even helping us coordinate with a medical clinic in Thailand—they handled everything seamlessly. The hotel facilities, including the restaurant and the spa, were also of a very high standard. The staff constantly showed a genuine interest in our daily activities and truly cared that we were happy and comfortable. A special thank you goes to Lily, the front desk manager, who went above and beyond by staying in touch with us even outside her working hours to take care of us and the kids throughout our stay. An exceptional hotel with outstanding service. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay at JM Marvel Hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter. The hotel is beautiful, aesthetic, and made our stay very comfortable. A special thanks to Lyly, who was incredibly sweet and went out of her way to accommodate all our requests. She also helped us plan our city tour with a map and great local recommendations. The restaurant has an excellent variety of vegetarian options, and we were pleasantly surprised to find aloo paratha as well. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and memorable stay! Window rooms are recommended.
One of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we received the warmest of welcomes from the staff - they could not have done anything more for us. The room was incredibly comfortable and had everything you could need. Breakfast was also great, with the option of freshly cooked meals. Even when the air conditioning was not working properly, fans were quickly provided without even asking. Cannot fault anything about our stay. Thank you more making our stay in Hanoi so special!
Truly a magical place. The place smelled amazing as soon as you walked in. The service team greeted us at our car to bring in our luggage. We were welcomed with plum tea and dessert while we waited to be checked in. The team took us to our room and brought our bags up for us. There was one occassion where we arrive late in the evening and they still greeted us at the door enthusiastically. Loved the amenities, including toiletries in the restroom, spa on site, and resocmmendations for activities and dining. It was a fantastic experience. The family room my friends stayed in had a queen sized bed, but the room I shared with another friend were extra long twin beds. I wish all the rooms were queen sized or full beds.
I stayed here for 3 nights, and without a doubt, this is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. First and foremost, the reception staff are absolutely outstanding. Alex in particular is the best hotel staff member I have ever encountered — warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. I actually looked forward to stopping by the front desk every day just because of him! The rooms are incredibly charming and beautifully decorated. As a solo female traveler, I also really appreciated the security features — the auto-lock doors and windows that don’t fully open gave me such peace of mind throughout my stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the welcome sweets and drinks upon arrival were a lovely touch that made me feel truly special from the very first moment. The only minor thing I noticed was that one of the bottles used for the homemade breakfast drinks had what looked like red mold on it — possibly not fully washed. It’s a small thing, but worth mentioning for hygiene purposes. Other than that one small detail, everything was perfect. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi, especially solo female travelers. I will absolutely be back the next time I visit!
