By far the most beautiful rooftop bar we experienced in Hanoi ❤️🌇🍷 Absolutely stunning views over the lake, breathtaking sunsets and a really stylish atmosphere overall. They also have a very well curated wine selection from all over the world, which we genuinely appreciated after many days of Vietnamese street food adventures 😄 But what really surprised us the most was the music selection: Without exaggerating probably the best soundtrack we have ever heard in a rooftop bar anywhere in the world 🎶 Sounds somewhere between Poolside, Chill Rap, and smooth Downtempo Soul beats - modern, stylish, relaxed and never annoying or over-the-top like some other bars which think they are a night club 😊 On top of that: super smart, friendly and genuinely relaxed service. No fake luxury attitude, just really cool people and great vibes. We completely fell in love with this place - and on our very last night in Hanoi, this honestly became one of those special travel moments you never forget Definitely a reason for us to come back to Hanoi again as soon as possible 🇻🇳❤️
If you want the best aerial view of Hoan Kiem Lake, you have to visit this sky bar. It’s famous for fireworks displays, but the everyday scenery is just as breathtaking. They have a district-themed cocktail menu; "Dong Da" was quite eccentric, while the rest were fairly standard. That said, the atmosphere is incredibly cool and relaxing—ideal for long talks with friends.
After a 25 hour journey we were looking to enjoy our first night in Hanoi. A quick google suggested a drink at the Terraço sky bar. From the front door till our seat the staff were friendly and courteous. The view is perfect over the Hoan Kiem Lake and beyond, great music playing in the background. Our drinks were delicious, we ordered a Tom Collins, a Whiskey Sour, a Cosmopolitan and my favourite the local special Hai Bà Trung District. Delicious! But honestly the highlight of the night was our waiter Jack (aka Hugh Jackman, aka Captain Jack). He spent the evening teaching us Vietnamese and providing recommendations for things to do in Hanoi. We would return just for his service alone! If you’re in Hanoi, we absolutely recommend this bar!
The experience, encompassing the food, hospitality, and views, was exceptional. The demeanor of the servers was particularly noteworthy; their friendly and helpful approach ensured that all guests felt welcome and at ease.
BEST VIEW IN HANOI! Lovely rooftop bar overlooking city and lake. Wonderful food and expert cocktails. Adding some food was a great idea and fresh rolls and chicken were the best! Great way to unwind and relax while watching nightfall and the city action. We loved it.
