I had an excellent stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. What truly made my experience special was the outstanding hospitality of Ms. Ánh Dương, Mrs. Quỳnh and Mrs. Nguyệt. They were incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Their exceptional service made me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi and would definitely stay here again!
While the staff were generally polite and the service was acceptable, the overall experience was not very impressive. The hotel felt quite congested, and the surroundings were not ideal in terms of space or comfort. The location also wasn’t particularly convenient, which made getting around a bit less smooth than expected. The rooms were decent but nothing exceptional, and the overall atmosphere felt a bit dated and crowded. It’s an average option if you’re looking for a basic stay, but there are definitely better choices available for comfort and location.
Interesting swimming pool. Was told that there are towels available for use at the pool, none to be found. Location away from the city centre but still all easy accessible. Rooms are nice and everything you need is there. Close enough to set up as a base for exploring Hanoi.
We arrived with an early flight but they didn't let us get a room. We later discovered it is common in Vietnam for them to try and charge extra. Eventually they said we could have the room at nine am by paying half a day. We went to to the "infinity pool". What a disappointment! It's more like a big bath tub parked on the roof. Anyway the location we liked. No tourists, plenty to see by walking around. Nice neighborhood. When we got to the room we forgave a lot from earlier. It is spacious and well equipped. Sheet was filthy, with blood even. They changed it, new sheet wasn't completely clean either. Big bath was nice though and TV has a lot of English speaking channels. Oh but the remote control didn't work even after changing batteries. Climate control was good and room was quiet.
Highly recommend this hotel. I have stayed at this hotel twice now. The rooms are quiet and clean. The rooftop has great views over Hanoi. Its only half hour ride to old quarter by grab. Lots of nearby cafes to choose from with great coffee and food. 5/10 minute walk to lots of restaurants. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. Really enjoyed breakfast every morning good selection of food to choose from. Will be staying here again in future. Thank you Ms Anna and all your staff for an enjoyable and helpful stay at Hilary Hanoi.
