Room is a little old and damp but clean in general. I went to the Spa facility and had a Japanese Shiatsu Massage with Ms. Dung, she was very good! I high recommend, she speaks little english but is very friendly and tried to customise her service for you depending on what you require.
I had a wonderful stay at HOTEL du PARC HANOI and would like to express my sincere appreciation to the staff who made my trip even more memorable. Special thanks to Mr. Duong from the Concierge Team for personally assisting me in returning my bicycle to the rental shop. I would also like to recognize Mr. Hoi Nhe, his supervisor, for allowing and supporting him in assisting me despite being on duty. Their kindness and willingness to help went far beyond my expectations. I would also like to thank Ms. Anh from Voyage Restaurant for her warm and attentive service, as well as another member of the Voyage Restaurant team whose name I unfortunately cannot remember. She was always very helpful and attentive whenever I dined at the restaurant, and her excellent service made every meal even more enjoyable. Lastly, thank you to Lan Anh (GRLA) from the Guest Relations Team for always being responsive and helpful throughout my stay, even before my arrival in Hanoi. She patiently assisted me with my concerns and helped coordinate with the reservation team to ensure everything went smoothly. The hospitality and genuine care shown by your team made me feel truly welcome. I highly recommend HOTEL du PARC HANOI and look forward to staying here again. 😊
I stayed at Du Parc Hanoi while attending an event held at the hotel, which made the experience especially convenient. The hotel is comfortable, with rooms that are spacious enough and very clean. Breakfast offered a good variety, and I particularly enjoyed the lunch buffet. It was delicious, with sushi and sashimi included. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. I would like to specifically highlight Ms. Lan Anh at the reception, who was extremely helpful and professional throughout my stay. My return flight was quite late, so I left my luggages at the concierge while I went out for coffee. When I came back, a young male staff member (on duty Friday late afternoon, 17 April, but unfortunately I didn't catch his name) kindly assisted me by bringing my luggages all the way to the taxi. That small gesture made a strong impression. The location is also quite strategic, close to the Old Quarter and several banks, making it easy to access ATMs. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
Hotel du Parc Hanoi provided an excellent experience. Its prime location away from the city center ensured undisturbed nighttime sleep, while its central position added convenience for daily commutes. This garden hotel features a lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a tropical rainforest-inspired courtyard. The Japanese-style hotel demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, though some facilities are slightly outdated. The design exudes a nostalgic Southeast Asian charm. The TV offers channels from BBC, CNN, NHK, Phoenix TV, and Star TV. Breakfast is both generous and delicious, catering to international tastes with Chinese, Japanese/Korean, Vietnamese, and even some Western dishes. While the overall experience was nearly perfect, one minor improvement is requested: the hotel should conduct regular fire safety inspections during off-peak hours, avoiding room maintenance during guests' bathing or rest periods.
AVOID MASSAGE/SPA services at all cost. Hotel du Parc – Overall Review Hotel: Hotel du Parc offers excellent value for money. The service was exquisite and staff were attentive throughout my stay. While the property itself is relatively old, it is well maintained. The toilets were clean, comfortable, and well kept, which made a positive difference. Dining – Azabu Restaurant: Azabu, the Michelin-listed Japanese restaurant, was a highlight. The food was fantastic and very good value for money. Quality, presentation, and overall experience exceeded expectations. Spa: Unfortunately, the spa experience was extremely disappointing and I would strongly advise avoiding it. The massage was poorly executed and lacked effort — the therapist frequently used only one hand with minimal pressure. While the first 10 minutes started off reasonably well, the quality quickly declined. The back massage was particularly bad, with repeated pressure applied directly on the spine rather than the surrounding muscles during the shiatsu massage. There was almost no actual muscle work. Even after requesting stronger pressure on the muscles, it was only applied briefly before returning to a weak, ineffective massage. To make matters worse, the spa pricing is easily two to three times higher than massages outside the hotel, making it very poor value for money. This was by far the worst part of the stay, and I would not recommend the spa to anyone. I entered the spa with a sore back but left with back pain.
