The rooms are small and dark but the bed was super comfortable, with fresh white linen and towels, a well stocked fridge and snacks. The bathroom was more than adequate with a lovely walk in shower! The hotel was quiet and is a close 10 minute walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, various restaurants nearby, and the Hanoi Opera house and Hanoi street market. The staff were friendly, attentive and very helpful during my stay. The free breakfast offered a variety of delicious fresh fruit, waffles, croissants, toast and pastries! Eggs in a variety of forms were offered daily with tea coffe and fresh juices. I really enjoyed with stay in this conveniently situated hotel!
I liked this hotel. The room was super clean and my favourite part was…the bathroom. We had stayed at some “5 star resorts” in Vietnam with a fancy bathtub in the bathroom or a divider for the toilet but we much preferred the simple yet modern bathroom at Hotel De Rond. It was super clean and new with a working/non-leaking shower that felt just like our bathroom back home. The hotel is located on a quiet street full of offices but is super central and close to Old Quarter.
So far so good ! Close to everything and fantastic price for $80CAD wow ! Breakfast was lovely and great laundry service too! Bed was comfy and shower was great . Not too noisy IMO and very cool they gave us watermelon juice during check-in! Breakfast was great too! They can make you different egg and pho wooow
We had a very pleasant stay in Hanoi at the De Rond Hotel. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. We were also able to use the laundry service, which is very useful during long trips. The location is perfect - away from the hustle and bustle, yet very close to the main attractions (about a 10-minute walk). The only drawback was that the room was quite small for a longer stay. Overall, we highly recommend the hotel and would be happy to return at the next opportunity.
