Description

Start your day at the conical-hat village and meet Mrs. Ta Thu Huong, a government-recognized artisan who has appeared on national TV, major magazines, and even been photographed with world leaders for her work in preserving the nón lá craft. She will guide you step by step to make your own conical hat and share stories about her family’s tradition. You can also choose to wear a premium Ao Dai for beautiful cultural photos (optional). Continue to Vietnam’s famous incense village, known for its bright “flower” displays of red incense sticks that have been featured widely in international media. Visit one of the largest workshops to see how artisans shape bamboo, mix fragrances, and create the colorful incense fans. This is also where you can capture the village’s most iconic photos. Enjoy a home-cooked lunch with a local family before returning to Hanoi. This full-day experience is perfect for travelers who want hands-on activities, meaningful local stories, and beautiful countryside scenery close to the capital. If you're interested in embroidery, we can also take you to meet artisan Hoàng Kkhương— a remarkable hand-embroidery artist. Despite her disability, she has created works recognized internationally, including a masterpiece that took her nearly 10 years to complete. This is a rare chance to meet her, hear her inspiring story, and admire Vietnamese hand-embroidery at its highest level.
