Description

Day 1: Hanoi – Nghia Lo – Mu Cang Chai Begin with a pickup in Hanoi and depart for Yen Bai Province. Stop for breakfast along the way (at your own expense). Enjoy scenic views of the Northwestern mountains during the journey. Have lunch at a local restaurant in Nghia Lo town, featuring regional specialties. Continue to Mu Cang Chai and visit Khau Pha Pass, one of the “Four Great Mountain Passes” of Vietnam. See the famous terraced rice fields in La Pan Tan, Che Cu Nha, and De Xu Phinh (depending on season and time). Check in at your hotel or homestay. Enjoy dinner with local cuisine and free time to explore Mu Cang Chai town. Overnight stay. Day 2: Mu Cang Chai – Ngoc Chien Have breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Ngoc Chien Commune (Son La Province), well known for its natural hot mineral springs and Thai ethnic villages. Have lunch at a local stilt house or restaurant in Ngoc Chien. Explore and experience Ngoc Chien Hot Mineral Springs, relaxing bathing in a peaceful mountain setting. Visit Luot Village, Nam Nghiep Village, and learn about the daily life and culture of the Thai ethnic people. Admire traditional wooden stilt houses, ancient samu forests, and tranquil terraced fields. Enjoy dinner featuring local specialties such as black chicken, stream fish, and sticky rice. Take part in optional cultural exchange activities. Overnight at a homestay in Ngoc Chien. Day 3: Ngoc Chien – Nghia Lo – Hanoi Have breakfast and free time to walk around the village, take photos, and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Depart for Hanoi. Have lunch in Nghia Lo town. Continue the journey back to Hanoi. Stop along the way to rest and shop for local specialties as souvenirs. Estimated arrival in Hanoi at around 7:00–8:00 PM. End of the tour.
