Begin your journey at the Vietnam Military History Museum, one of Hanoi’s most important cultural landmarks. Here you’ll find a vast collection of artifacts, from weapons and aircraft to detailed exhibitions on Vietnam’s centuries-long struggle for independence. The museum also features the iconic Flag Tower of Hanoi. You can then tailor your experience with one of the following options: Option 1: Only Military History Museum Spend your entire tour exploring the museum at a relaxed pace, diving deep into Vietnam’s wartime history with your guide’s insights. Option 2: Military History Museum + Hoa Lo Prison After the museum, continue to Hoa Lo Prison, a somber site that tells the stories of Vietnamese revolutionaries as well as American POWs held during the Vietnam War. Option 3: Military History Museum + Ba Dinh Square Alternatively, visit Ba Dinh Square, the symbolic heart of modern Vietnam, where Ho Chi Minh declared independence in 1945. See the Parliament House, Presidential Palace, and the exterior of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
