Description

Start your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Head to the cooking venue by walking, motorbike, or car, depending on your location and group size. Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome tea, coffee, or water. With your chef, select three traditional Vietnamese dishes and one local drink, such as egg coffee or egg beer, to prepare during the class. Learn a few useful Vietnamese phrases to help during the market visit, including how to greet locals, ask for prices, and bargain like a local. Then, accompanied by your guide, walk to a nearby local market. Shop for fresh herbs, vegetables, meats, and spices. Your chef will explain how to select the best ingredients and introduce some unique local products. Return to the kitchen and begin your cooking session. Follow your chef’s step-by-step guidance to prepare each dish. This is a hands-on experience — you will do everything yourself, from cutting to seasoning and cooking. Sit down and enjoy the delicious food you have made in a cozy, friendly setting with your fellow participants. You will also prepare and enjoy the Vietnamese drink you selected earlier. Receive your cooking class certificate along with printed or digital recipes to take home. Take photos with your chef and group to capture the memories. Finally, your guide will escort you back to your hotel or drop you off anywhere in the Old Quarter.
