Description
DAY 1: Hanoi – Pu Luong (Lunch, Dinner)
06:40 | Departure from Hanoi Your journey begins with a comfortable pick-up from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter. If your hotel is located outside this area, please make your way to our designated meeting point at the Hanoi Opera House, where you'll board the bus for the scenic drive to Pu Luong Nature Reserve.
Settle in and enjoy spectacular views along the way, with glimpses into the everyday life of the mountain communities you'll pass. A short rest stop midway offers the chance to browse local mountain produce and sample a regional specialty such as Com Lam, fragrant sticky rice cooked inside bamboo.
Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch followed by check-in at your accommodation, with free time to relax and take in your surroundings.
Board a short car transfer to reach the starting point of your afternoon trek. Your walk begins by crossing a hanging bridge over the Cham River, before continuing through Ba Village, where traditional houses reflect generations of local heritage.
Continue on to discover one of Pu Luong's most iconic sights: the ingenious bamboo water wheels built by the Thai ethnic minority — among the most impressive irrigation systems in all of Vietnam, and a striking example of traditional engineering in harmony with nature.
The day comes to a peaceful close with a relaxing bamboo boat ride along the river — a mode of transport still used by locals today to reach their homes and fields, offering you a truly authentic and tranquil experience.
Return to your bungalow to unwind, take a dip in the infinity pool, or simply enjoy the mountain scenery. Dinner is served at the restaurant, followed by a peaceful evening at the bar or poolside — the perfect way to end an unforgettable first day.
DAY 2: Pu Luong – Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast, set off on a scenic trek toward Kho Muong Village. The trail winds past traditional Thai stilt houses before opening onto breathtaking viewpoints over Pu Luong's famous infinite rice terraces.
As you descend from the hilltop, Kho Muong Village gradually comes into view — a moment that reveals just how special and untouched this valley truly is. After exploring the village, continue to the entrance of the Bat Cave, with the option to visit inside, weather permitting.
Head back to your bungalow for check-out, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy some free time to relax by the infinity pool or take a final stroll through the surroundings before boarding the bus between 13:00 and 13:30 for your return journey to Hanoi.
