Begin your adventure with a morning pickup from your hotel in Hanoi. Hop into a Jeep with your driver and English-speaking guide, and set off on a scenic drive through the countryside towards Ba Vi National Park. Upon arrival, choose from a variety of activities based on your interests and fitness level. Take a leisurely nature walk to the park’s lake and gardens, or embark on a short hike to one of the mountain peaks for panoramic views. Visit highlights such as the French-era ruins, temples, and the cactus/nursery areas. Next, enjoy a prepared picnic on site or head to a nearby local restaurant serving northern Vietnamese dishes. Vegetarian options are available. After lunch, drive to Duong Lam Ancient Village in Son Tay district. Stroll through the narrow lanes and laterite-brick streets, visit ancient family houses and communal houses, and learn about laterite construction and village life.
