Description
Begin your tour with a guided drive through Hanoi’s historic Old Quarter. Explore traditional streets, observe daily local life, and learn about the history of the famous “36 Guild Streets.'
Next, head to the Hoa Lo Prison Museum. Built by the French in the late 19th century, this historic prison offers insight into Vietnam’s colonial history and wartime experiences. Listen as your guide explains the key historical events associated with the site.
Then, enjoy a small street food experience at local eateries. Sample typical dishes like Bún Chả (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles), Bánh Cuốn (steamed rice rolls), and Nem Rán (Vietnamese fried spring rolls). Your guide will introduce the history of these dishes and explain how locals enjoy them.
Finally, stop for a Vietnamese coffee at a local café while observing daily life along the railway. If the timing is right, you may see a train passing through the narrow street.
