The room and the view on 5th floor deluxe room was perfect as well as then laundry machine. However, do not that their both of their male staff are very unwelcoming and glued to their phones. They made me feel like I am wasting their time as I check in. Also the bedding has hairs on it and were clearly not cleaned before we checked in.
My main issue with this hotel is the housekeeping. When I checked in my room wasn’t cleaned. The floor and furniture were both noticeably dirty and sticky. There was also hair all around the room on the furniture. I complained to the front desk and they sent housekeeping back to my room the next day and again they didn’t clean anything. Overall it’s not the worst affordable hotel in Hanoi but I wouldn’t stay here again unless they get professional cleaners or better management.
I stayed here for just over a month, and unfortunately my experience ended on a very disappointing note. Before checking out, I asked if I could have a late checkout until 6:00 PM because my bus wasn’t leaving until 8:00 PM. Reception told me there would be a 50% charge for the late checkout, which I thought was perfectly fair, so I agreed. However, at around 4:00 PM, staff started knocking on my door asking if I was leaving. Then I received a WhatsApp message from reception saying they had changed their minds and were now charging me the full nightly rate because the cleaning staff finished at 4:30 PM and they wouldn’t be able to clean the room. What made this especially frustrating was that during my four-week stay, my room was cleaned only about five times. Most of the time nothing was replenished or cleaned unless I specifically asked. So being told they suddenly needed to charge me a full night’s rate because they couldn’t clean the room felt extremely cheeky and inconsistent. The facilities may seem attractive at first, but the service and attitude of the staff left a lot to be desired. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not. Poor service, poor communication, and a disappointing way to treat a long-term guest.
Loved this place, expect to feel like an Airbnb more than a hotel. Great if you love privacy, want a kitchen for a change, has ensuite laundry, great views, overall would recommend. About 15mins from old town so plan wisely to avoid traffic!
Stayed here for almost 2 weeks and really enjoyed my time there. The location is great — calm, convenient, and close to everything I needed. Room is clean and well equipped. The bed is comfortable, and overall the place feels modern and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. Specially would like to mention Mr. Vu for being kind and helpful during my stay. Definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Hanoi.
