I enjoyed my meal here last week, so I decided to bring an important friend back today. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. The shrimps had a strong fishy smell, and the wagyu steak was tough. On top of that, I came specifically for the truffle cheesecake, but not only was the cheesecake included in the set unavailable, the crème brûlée was also sold out, so it had to be replaced with ice cream. Overall, this meal was a real disappointment.
Location was unique and interesting, upon a good amout of narrow stairs. Cozy atmosphere. Great food with some surprisingly delicious fusion that I never thought of, like the wasabi mousse and ponzu sauce.
We went here tonight, 5 members and we all love it. The price is high as we ordered a lot, we wanna try as we were recommended by our friends. Each has different tastes and all in all we like it so much. Good decoration Dating vibe, quite and clean The desert is great too, must try. We will come back again
I have been to Pincho Tapas twice, and overall it has been a pleasant experience. This time, however, the atmosphere felt a bit cold because the staff frequently opened the door to the balcony seating area, which made the indoor space less comfortable. The food was delicious as always, especially the tapas and steaks. That said, the steak dishes were slightly under-seasoned and could have benefited from a bit more salt to enhance the flavors. Despite that small drawback, Pincho Tapas is still a great place for a romantic evening. The cozy setup, warm lighting, and intimate vibe make it ideal for a date night — even a special occasion like a proposal.
Not a good idea to dine here during year-end days. Portions were small, while prices were double the normal menu. For example, the dry-aged Angus beef is usually 280,000 VND, but today it was 560,000 VND, with the same or even smaller portion size. Food quality was average, nothing particularly memorable or worth the premium pricing. I understand a special holiday menu on public holidays, but December 29 is not a public holiday in Vietnam. It’s unclear how prices could be inflated 2× without any noticeable difference in ingredients, portion, or service. I also don’t know whether staff wages are increased accordingly. Total bill was 1.6 million VND, and I still had to eat bánh cuốn elsewhere afterward. Overall, not worth the money nor the experience, especially during this period.
