Overpriced, unprofessional, and lacked basic care. I am extremely disappointed with my experience here, especially considering the premium price of 480,000 VND for a 60-minute head massage and hair wash. For this cost in Hanoi, I expected a high-end experience, but it felt cheap and poorly managed. They used standard Pantene, the kind you buy at any supermarket. At this price point, natural herbal infusions or professional salon products should be a given. The therapist was interrupted 3 separate times by other staff members coming in to talk or ask questions. It is impossible to relax when the staff treats the treatment room like a common office. The "eye cover" provided was just a piece of cheap plastic foam. The overall room ambiance was not relaxing at all. To be honest, I have had significantly better massages at a regular hairdresser for a basic $2-3 wash. The massage here was uninspired and certainly not worth the "spa" markup. Overall, it feels like an overpriced tourist trap that relies on its location rather than quality. I would not recommend it, there are far better, more professional spots that actually value the customer experience.
I stayed at the Sheraton Hanoi and found Hana Spa conveniently located just across the street. The service is absolutely top-notch, and the massages offer both excellent value and a truly relaxing experience. I would highly recommend their 90min Vietnamese massage to anyone visiting the area.
