Romantique Hotel is a really great hotel with excellent service. All the staff were wonderful-especially one staff member who can speak Mandarin is very kind and helpful. We asked the hotel to help us send postcards, and although we initially ran into some issues sending them, the team worked with us to fix everything. We're very grateful. Highly recommend!
From the moment you arrive, the level of care and attention from the staff is immediately noticeable. Being warmly welcomed by the doormen already sets the tone for a truly exceptional stay. During my time in Vietnam, I stayed at this hotel three different times—and kept coming back for a reason. We spent one night here upon arrival, returned for two nights after visiting Ninh Binh and Halong Bay, and stayed another night after Sapa before leaving the country. Each stay was consistently excellent. What makes this hotel truly stand out is the team. Having traveled to many countries, I can honestly say I’ve rarely experienced such a genuine level of commitment to guest satisfaction. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to go above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. They assisted us with so many thoughtful services: securing a reservation at Tam Vi restaurant, arranging our Halong Bay cruise, and allowing us to store our large luggage while we traveled to other destinations with just a small bag. They even handled our laundry pickup and drop-off seamlessly without requiring us to be present—such a time saver and extremely convenient. The WiFi connection was reliable and strong, making remote work easy and stress-free. But beyond all these practical things, what really made the difference was the people. Their smiles, their care, and even the small conversations we shared made me feel genuinely welcome. It didn’t feel like just part of their job—they are truly warm, kind people, and it shows in everything they do. Overall, this hotel offers not only comfort and convenience but also a heartfelt level of hospitality that’s hard to find. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi.
On arrival the staff could not have done more from carrying bags to their lovely smiles and sweet gestures was enough to put any traveller at ease. Such a brilliant team. Tam went out of her way as well as the 2 guys behind nd the desk. The next day I came back from trip feeling very dick and staff brought me hot ginger tea with honey was amazing service and I really cannot recommend the service entirely ugh. The people of this hotel is what really makes this hotel shine and these guys are over and beyond and definitely deserve to be acknowledged. Once again thanks so much had such a n amazing time and want to thank from the bottom of our hearts. Xxx
Great location in the heart of the Old Quarter. Older building but rooms are reasonably sized and clean. Stayed there for 3 nights as a couple and everything was great. Breakfast is included - there is pho and omelettes available made to order in addition to a buffet style food. I think what stands out most is the service. Arguably the best service we've had in during our vacation to Vietnam. The receptionists, door man and everyone in between were super friendly and professional and always willing to help. Every request made via WhatsApp was met with blazing speed (eg: new battery for remote, scale to weigh our suitcases) I don't think I ever had to open the front door once when we were there. Always greeted with a smile. I would highly recommend this hotel based on the service we received.
Loved our experience at Romantique Hotel! Great location on a quieter street near everything in the Old Quarter. Rooms were nice, with comfortable beds, good AC, and clean every day. We also had our laundry done at the hotel and was a great experience. The only critique is our shower splashed the floor quite a bit, but not a huge issue and overall very satisfied! And at very very reasonable price. The staff made the experience great! Everyone was friendly and always willing to help. We especially loved with Tam at the front desk- she’s the best!! Would recommend.
