We had an amazing stay at this hotel and would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi. The highlight of our experience was without a doubt the staff. Emma, Emily, Laila, Mark, and all the other team members were incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to help with every request and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. Their hospitality was exceptional and made a lasting impression on us. The hotel is in a fantastic location in Hanoi’s French Quarter, making it easy to explore the city while still enjoying a pleasant and convenient neighborhood. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection to start the day, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. Housekeeping also did an outstanding job, keeping everything spotless throughout our stay. Overall, this was a wonderful experience thanks to the fantastic team, the excellent location, and the high standard of the hotel. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi.

I’m often asked to leave reviews after a hotel stay, but if I’m honest, I rarely do. This review comes purely from our own experience and genuine appreciation for the exceptional hospitality we received. I simply felt the team deserved to be recognised, and I hope our experience helps other travellers when choosing where to stay. As a family, we have travelled extensively, visiting many countries and staying in countless hotels, often choosing 5-star properties for the experience and service they provide. Yet every now and then, you come across a place that reminds you true hospitality isn’t defined by stars it’s defined by people. We chose Minasi Grand because our daughter had been staying here during her overseas exchange. We originally booked just one night so we could spend some time with her in Hanoi before continuing our travels. What we expected was a comfortable stay. What we experienced was something far more memorable. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed. Breakfast offered a good variety and was enjoyable each morning. But what truly exceeded every expectation was the exceptional team. From the moment we arrived, Layla at reception made us feel genuinely welcome. She was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful, always happy to answer our questions and offer thoughtful recommendations that made exploring Vietnam even more enjoyable. Shortly afterwards, we met Mark, who welcomed us with genuine warmth. When we asked about a nearby restaurant, he didn’t simply point us in the right direction, he personally walked us there. It was a small gesture that spoke volumes about the level of care and pride he has in looking after guests. After returning late from a short trip to Cambodia, Sarah went above and beyond to assist us. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and she did everything with kindness and professionalism. Service like hers leaves a lasting impression. Special recognition to Emma, Every morning she welcomed everyone with the most genuine smile. Her warmth, positive energy, and cheerful nature brightened every breakfast and started our day on the best possible note. She has a wonderful gift for making people feel seen and welcome. I’ve stayed in many beautiful hotels around the world, but long after you’ve forgotten the room, you remember how people made you feel. The team at Minasi Grand made us feel genuinely cared for, and that is something money simply cannot buy. We leave not only impressed by the hotel, but deeply grateful for the people who made it feel like home. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and will happily recommend Minasi Grand to anyone looking for authentic hospitality in Hanoi.
Here for a 2 week stay as a solo traveller. So far I'm very impressed with the standard of service from all the staff I've encountered. Leyla, Helen, Mark and Emma have been very welcoming (apologies if I've missed any names off). And the lovely guy on reception was super helpful in locating my laundry today. The breakfast is always gorgeous and I look forward to it every morning. I've slowly been trying everything! My only slight negative would be the money exchange rates that I was offered when enquiring at reception. Just 30k to the pound. Way below standard rates. Ended up going to the ATM instead for a much better rate. Otherwise I'm very happy with my stay here and the excellent customer service. Thank you so much
We had a perfect stay. The personnel is extremely friendly, helpful and lovely; especially Emma, Edward and Sarah went above and beyond and were super kind and accommodating. The breakfast is beautifully prepared, and on our day of our (very early 6am) departure Emma and team made sure we had snack boxes and coffee to go. The location was excellent for us, a bit of a walk (30min) from the rather touristy old town, it was surrounded by amazing restaurants, wonderful people and all in all authentic and lively Hanoi. The beautiful rooms, small but lovely hotel pool on the roof and gym made our stay in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Hanoi even more comfortable. Thank you for everything!
