We stayed at Capella Hanoi to celebrate my husband’s birthday after previously visiting Capella Bangkok and Capella Taipei. From the moment we arrived, we felt that Capella Hanoi was in a different league. Every member of the team was genuinely warm, attentive, and made us feel sincerely welcomed. Our room was beautifully prepared with birthday decorations and a cake, and the team wished my husband a happy birthday from the moment we checked in. Those thoughtful touches made our celebration even more special. A special thank you to Mr. Nam, whose kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Capella Hanoi has a very distinctive identity. Unlike the other Capella properties we have visited, it embraces an opera house-inspired design that is elegant, theatrical, and full of character. It may not be everyone’s style, but we truly appreciated how unique and immersive the experience was. It wasn’t just a beautiful stay—it was a memorable experience, thanks to the warmth and genuine care of the people at Capella Hanoi. We are already looking forward to visiting another Capella in the future.

First and foremost, we want to express our deepest gratitude to Manager Ha, she is incredibly thoughtful and attentive. While we were dining at the restaurant, she not only recommended fantastic dishes but also patiently shared so much helpful local information. For first-time visitors like us, his guidance was an absolute lifesaver! We also felt so welcomed by the entire team from the moment we arrived. Everyone was so helpful during check-in. In particular, Ms Thao was incredibly sweet and caring from check-in all the way to check-out, making us feel right at home. A very special thank you must also go to Mr. Loc one of the bartenders. We were looking to purchase a coffee item that happened to be sold out at the hotel. Knowing this, Loc went entirely out of his way to search for it outside the property and successfully bought it for us. This level of dedication and care touched us deeply. We also happen to meet the room inspector lady at our 5th floor while back to the room. She is very friendly and keeps asking us if we need anything. She really takes good care of us. Thank you to all the staff for your warm smiles and exceptional service. We had an amazing experience here and are already looking forward to our next
If I could give this hotel a higher rating I would. My wife and I have been fortunate to stay at some of the finest hotels in the world and this is our favorite. From the decor, to the service, to the food, everything is spectacular. The jazz in the early evening is a special treat and not to be missed. Even the interns are top notch. We met a delightful young man, Huy, who was professional, friendly, and added to our experience. We would have never guessed he was an intern. We are still at the hotel and talking about how we can’t wait to come back.
We had an outstanding stay at Capella Hanoi and couldn't have asked for a better experience. What impressed us the most was the exceptional hospitality and truly impeccable service – every member of the team made us feel incredibly welcome. The rooms were beautifully designed and luxurious, and the breakfast was absolutely world-class with an outstanding selection and quality. A true highlight of our stay was the unforgettable four-hands dinner with Chef Christian Bau. It was an extraordinary culinary experience that will stay with us for a long time. Overall, it was a fantastic stay from start to finish, and Capella Hanoi will definitely be our hotel of choice on our next trip to Vietnam. Highly recommended!
Wow, just wow. From the second we stepped out of our car, my husband and I have been absolutely blown away by the service at The Capella Hanoi. We were immediately greeted with a welcome cocktail, which was the perfect libation to digest as we heard the news about our room upgrade to a suite! Harry gave us a tour of our suite and I don’t think I stopped smiling the entire time. The attention to detail, the design/decor, the welcome goodies - we felt like a king & queen for the duration of our stay. We had every intention of checking in, freshening up, then going out to explore Hanoi; we wound up not leaving the Capella until the middle of the next day! There’s so many built-in (free!) amenities (ie tea hour, jazz night + cocktails and snacks, breakfast menu AND buffet, gym, gorgeous marble pool, sauna/cold plunge- there was really no reason to ever leave. And the best part… ask for Check 61 and Patrick. Just trust me. Truly, the best vacation, hotel, just overall experience of my life. Huge shout out to the entire staff but especially Harry, Patrick, Long, Hoa, and Thao!
