My partner and I came for a massage and nail service. The biggest problem was the massage. The masseuse stretched my partner and pushed their leg to a maximum point of resistance, but then they tried to push more and they immediately felt a tinge and reacted. Once we left and walked away, my partner immediately felt the niggle so they limped a little bit for the rest of the way home. By the next day the back of the knee swelled up despite icing. Now it's been two weeks with no improvement, and after checking it, my partner officially has a partially torn ligament in the back of their knee. Walked into the spa for recovery, walked out with a literal injury that will take months to heal. For the short haired masseuse in this spa, do NOT push past a point of resistance! That is a basic rule of stretching to avoid injury. If the body resists, that is the limit. Otherwise, the nails were fine but they do not push cuticles back or treat and remove them by default. So by the next day when I treated the cuticles, the nails already looked like they grew out for a week. Note it was shellac but they last less than 3 weeks as they've begin chipping the last few days. I'd possibly go back for the nails but would just recommend ensuring you ask them to treat the cuticles beforehand.
