It was not for lack of curiosity. One of the great pleasures of travel is deciding where to eat, and few cities reward that pursuit more generously than Hanoi. Which makes what happened next somewhat surprising. Geography is, among other things, the study of why people keep returning to the same place. Hanoi has been providing answers to that question for over a millennium. Emperors, merchants, scholars and armies have all arrived here, and remarkably few seem to have concluded that the city was a mistake. After our first dinner at this restaurant, we found ourselves thinking along remarkably similar lines. There were, no doubt, countless other places where we might have spent our second evening. We did not conduct further research. Instead, we came back. In retrospect, this appears to have been a sound decision. I could recommend individual dishes, and several would deserve the mention. But that would miss the point. Do not come here for a particular plate. Come here to taste Hanoi. Come here to taste Vietnam.
Dear Hotel Team, I want to be honest and say that I was kindly asked to write a review. It was very easy for me to say yes because I truly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room size was good, everything was clean, and the room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is very central in the Old Quarter, which was very convenient. For me, the most important thing anywhere is always the service and the staff. The team was welcoming, patient, kind, and super helpful, making my stay easy, comfortable, and pleasant. Amazing hotel! Being located in the Old Quarters meant that we were always close to all the sights, restuarants, and bars. The rooms were well furnished and very clean. Breakfast was also tasty with the option to order hot pho as well. The stay was made so much more awesome due to the hospitality of Rosy and Lucas. Their constant smiles and warm attitudes made the stay lovely. They also went above and beyond to check in with us and made sure our stay was alright, but also to ensure our time in Hanoi was great too.
We’re a Japanese couple who stayed here for our honeymoon, and honestly, it was a perfect experience! Daniel and Maya were amazing and took great care of us during our 4-night stay. They gave us helpful tips to make our trip smoother and always checked in on us—like asking if we had breakfast or needed anything. It really made us feel welcome. The location is also great, super close to the Hanoi Old Quarter, so it’s perfect for sightseeing. Everything was very clean and well taken care of too. We’d definitely stay here again on our next trip to Hanoi!
Really enjoyed our stay here. Concierge team speaks English and is very helpful. They will offer to clean your room on each day. Air conditioning was good. Great location. We got addicted to the smoothies next door. The passion fruit is so delicious.
