We only stayed one night at H hotel since we were transiting to another city the next morning. Wish we could have stayed longer because it was a beautiful hotel. Location is great to get around the old quarter but keep in mind that it is also a busy area. Despite the noise outside, the room was quiet and relaxing, spacious and beautiful design. We had windows but no view since it is between other buildings. Wifi connection was good and breakfast was great as well. They had many choices. Not to forget, the staff was very helpful as well. They arranged a driver for us the next morning to get to the airport.
The first thing worth mentioning is the superb location: step out of the hotel, and you are right in the heart of the Old Town’s vibrant life. Everything is literally within walking distance: the market, the night market, the sights, and the famous street with the train! The staff are top-notch; it is rare to find such warmth, attentiveness, friendliness, and genuine delight in welcoming every guest. The breakfasts are a solid 10 out of 10—there is food to suit absolutely every taste! If you are staying for just one night, a room without a view is fine, but for a longer stay, a room with a balcony is better—simply open the door, and you can see the city’s bustling life. If you value coziness and a welcoming atmosphere combined with excellent service, then this is definitely the place for you!
The best part of the hotel is its location as well as the concierge/ reception staff, Steve! He is simply brilliant and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and the breakfast spread was amazing. It may not look like a hotel with fancy chandeliers or lighting! It feels like the service is from the heart. Sometimes making the guests feel homely is more important than anything else. Once again kudos to Steve. Thank you for such amazing service.
We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time here. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Our room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay even more special. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast. While there was a wide selection, it didn't quite meet our expectations. It would be fantastic if authentic Vietnamese pho could be included, as it would make the breakfast experience even better. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend this hotel for its comfortable rooms, excellent location, and warm hospitality.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and the breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options each morning. Everywhere was walkable and there’s a pharmacy right next door. A special thank you to David at reception, who went above and beyond to help organise our private car transfer from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and even checked in with us afterwards to make sure we had arrived safely. His exceptional service made our trip much smoother and more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!
