In direct contrast to the property I visited in HCMC two weeks ago that was more expensive, the Soleil Boutique Hotel, delivered on all fronts. I made sure to reserve a room overlooking the street, (windows blocked all sound when closed) and it was a great experience from start to finish. Service was awesome. There was a wonderful female concierge who absolutely rocked. She took care of me whenever I walked into the lobby and when I caught my GRAB in the rain, she personally escorted me to the car with her umbrella ! The breakfast buffet was very good with many options and great service in the dining room for coffee and hot dish delivery. As far as the room goes, the bed and sheets spotlessly clean, high quality thread count, and med firm mattress. Bathroom spacious with high quality fixtures. The floor was beautiful dark wood plank high polished and in great condition. The team here worked every minute I saw them and they deserve high praise. No this is not a paid review, but after what happened in HCMC at the hotel there, I cannot give this hotel enough praise. I will be back. And, the location is perfect for the old quarter, smack in the middle of everything.
Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Soleil Boutique Hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was perfect for exploring Hanoi’s Old Quarter, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offered a great variety to start each day. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the outstanding hospitality. Every staff member was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared that we had the best possible experience. A very special thank you to Cara and Allie, who went above and beyond with their kindness, helpful recommendations, and exceptional service. They made us feel like family and were a big reason our time in Hanoi was so memorable. We highly recommend Soleil Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi and would happily stay here again. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The family suite was perfect for 2 adults and 2 children, the pool and rooftop area were nice and breakfast was fine. The massage was also good. We were glad we chose this hotel and I’d recommend it for a mid-range hotel.
Our family of five stayed at Soleil Boutique Hotel in Hanoi from June 1–5, 2026, and it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. The greatest strength of this hotel is its people. Every member of the staff—from the front desk team to the dining room staff and housekeeping—was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay exceptional. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel more like honored guests than customers. The food was amazing every single day. Breakfast offered a wonderful variety of fresh and delicious options, and every meal was prepared and presented with great care. It quickly became one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel itself was comfortable, clean, and perfectly located for exploring Hanoi, but it was the incredible staff and service that truly set it apart. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure our family had everything we needed. We travel frequently, and it is rare to find a hotel that exceeds expectations in every category. Soleil Boutique Hotel did exactly that. Without hesitation, I can say that I will never stay anywhere else when visiting Hanoi. We only stayed in this hotel for one night but it was fantastic. The place is beautiful with black and white marble throughout. Customer service is top notch. You feel like royalty when you stay here. They open the door and carry your bags for you. They bring you fresh drinks when you check in. They send fresh fruits to your room upon check in. They even allowed us to extend our check out time from 12pm to 7pm for a very very small fee. They have a laundry service with a 6 hour turnaround that they pick up from your room. Also the free breakfast is outstanding with a large buffet and eggs to order. They also arranged transport for us to the airport which was very helpful. Thank you to the employees Jerry, Peter, and Quan for the outstanding service! 10/10 would stay here again.
