Reviews
Out of all the places I stayed during my time in Vietnam, San Premium was by far one of the most welcoming. The staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help. The hotel had great facilities, was very comfortable, and the staff were extremely flexible with guests coming and going. A special mention to Charlie, who was an excellent host. He was friendly, professional, and showed genuine care for all guests, always making sure everyone felt welcome and looked after. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend San Premium to anyone visiting Vietnam.
Excellent location in the old quarter not far from Hanoi corner and 3 mins from the train street. Also on a street with great exchange rates and good suitcase repair services. Room was clean and great. Staff were amazingly helpful. They gave me a free upgrade. All trips to Sapa and Ninh Binh were arranged and were at a good price and comfortable. When I was back from Sapa early morning the staff even gave me a temporary room to crash while my upgraded room was getting ready.
The hospitality of the staff members were a class apart. We were greeted warmly and were offered complimentary drinks at the time of check-in. The receptionist also took the pain of explaining all the local sightseeing places and shared the times of the train at the train street. We booked a Deluxe Double Room which came with a King-Size bed. The room was not very spacious, mainly because of the giant bed, but it had all the basic amenities. The washroom was spacious, on the other hand. Since we were on our honeymoon, they had decorated the room nicely with flowers and all. They had also sent in some complimentary fruits. The room came with complimentary breakfast and the breakfast spread was huge! Since most of the guests had day trip packages to places like Nin Binh and Ha Long Bay, and they had to start early, breakfast at this hotel started at 6:30 AM. That ensured we could have the breakfast everyday. The spread consisted of options like noodles and fried rice, had chicken sausages and bacon, had a few options from their local cuisine, along with continental options like baked beans, croissant and other bakery items. Then there were sushi, pastries, fruits, milkshakes, and juices! We stayed at this property for three days and paid around 4.4 million Vietnamese Dong.
We organised our stay months in advance and were in contact via WhatsApp with Aimee after booking, as I had a few questions before flying to Hanoi. She was fantastic, very helpful and responsive. She also arranged our trip to Ha Long Bay and the boat cruise, which was absolutely wonderful. The other ladies at the front desk were great as well, though I’ve unfortunately forgotten their names. We stayed on the 5th floor and the room was excellent and spacious, with a queen bed and a single bed. Mattresses are a bit firm for me though. We had a view overlooking the road and surrounding buildings. Fresh bottles of water were provided daily, the room was clean, and the shower was very good. Breakfast was buffet-style, with omelettes, fried eggs, and other items made to order. Everything was fresh and enjoyable. I really couldn’t fault the front desk team or the breakfast staff. Location is really good too.
Wonderful stay at San Premier. The staff is amazing, welcoming , friendly, helpful and very kind. The rooms are comfortable and bright, the breakfast excellent, specially the omelettes. Very good range of offerings therefore everyone was catered for. We stayed there three times due to itinerary and not once we wished to leave. The hotel location in the old quarter is incredible, just three minutes walk to Train Street and many restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The area is extremely safe, walking around market areas in the night is an experience on its own. We highly recommend San Premium and thank all the staff for their welcome.
