Stayed in mid-March 2026 and this is a go-to for me in future! If a very clean place with basic breakfast and laundry services is what you're looking for, this is the hotel. Laundry services are inexpensive and I took advantage of it. Breakfast has a few hot dishes, bread, croissants and also pho made to order. Location wise, it is convenient as there are direct buses that enter the Hanoi Old Quarter area and the nearest bus stop is about 3 mins walk away. Toilet design is a bit odd because the shower water does flow to the other parts of the toilet but an extra few floor towel solves the job :)
The lobby was beautiful with a wonderful massage chair that I used nightly. The service was good. Especially the young man who walked me to the market. However, maybe it takes some getting use to (sense this is a rainy time) but there were ants in the room even after they said a thorough cleaning was done. They offered to move me, but by the time I returned to the hotel, rooms were not available. It makes sense to hold a room sense I was already staying at the hotel. When I checked out, I told the guy there were still ants in the room thinking he would discount the rate. Well, he didn't offer anything except an apology. That was not enough so I am writing this review so they will do better by their customers.
